BOS Innovations Opens $5.4 Million Robotics and Automation Facility in Lexington, Creating 111 Jobs
Canadian automation integrator's first U.S. operation celebrates its grand opening after a June 2025 announcement
BOS Innovations, a London, Ontario–based industrial automation integrator, celebrated the grand opening of its first U.S. manufacturing operation in Lexington, a $5.4 million investment expected to create 111 full-time jobs serving the company's growing American customer base. The company engineers and deploys custom robotic production systems, including advanced robotics, laser, welding, precision assembly and inspection, for industrial manufacturers across North America, and said the Lexington site will improve service responsiveness, cross-border collaboration and supply-chain integration. The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved an incentive agreement under the Kentucky Business Investment program in June 2025. Mayor Linda Gorton and Commerce Lexington Board Chair Nick Nicholson pointed to the region's workforce and the state's trade relationship with Canada, its top trading partner, as factors in the location decision.
